Dirt-Resistant Chinchilla and Degu Cage – Modular Wooden Habitat

Designed to contain dust, hay and dirt without sacrificing ventilation and visibility.

This cage was created to solve one of the most common problems in rodent habitats: dirt coming out of the cage .

Traditional cages with bars often allow hay, dust, and debris to escape easily, making it difficult to keep the home clean. They also make it quite noisy.

This habitat is instead closed on all sides , so as to effectively contain:

• sand bath powder
• hay and feed residues
• sawdust and debris
• reduce noise emissions
• can be placed in any room thanks to its aesthetics

The result is a cleaner, tidier and more manageable environment, without compromising animal welfare.

Ventilation system with windows

To ensure good ventilation and visibility, the cage is equipped with metal mesh windows positioned above the shelves.

Characteristics:

• n° 2 windows per side
• standard diameter 20 cm
• rectangular or round metal grate
• position designed to promote air exchange and internal visibility

There is always an additional window on the roof which further increases light and internal ventilation.

Expandable modular structure

The cage is available in two main configurations:

Full module
80 × 50 × 120 cm

Stackable module
80 × 50 × 70 cm

The stackable module allows you to expand the habitat by connecting multiple units together.

The modules can be connected:

• via a passage hole on the roof
• or laterally

This system allows you to create larger and more complex habitats based on your needs.

Anti-bite protection

To increase durability, the cage is internally reinforced with aluminum profiles in the areas most exposed to biting.

Externally there is a white plastic finishing edge with an aesthetic function that covers the thickness of the panels.

Upon request it is possible to:

• apply aluminum profiles also on the outside
• edge the aluminum windows .
