Mesh and Plexiglass Door for Furniture – Transform your furniture into a safe habitat

Transform a regular piece of furniture into a functional, elegant, and safe habitat for your small animals with the Maw's Habitat door.

This front panel is designed to fit existing furniture, such as those from IKEA and other manufacturers, allowing you to create a well-ventilated habitat without sacrificing practicality.

The proposed size is suitable for furniture with an external dimension of 80 × 60 cm, but each door can be made completely to measure. To request a customized version, simply provide the internal measurements of the furniture compartment.

Smart and Practical Structure

The door consists of a robust fixed structure that houses:

• a main opening mesh door;
• an integrated plexiglass flap, ideal for daily operations such as feeding, watering, or performing minor maintenance without opening the entire front panel.

The lower part, on the other hand, is fixed and consists of two 5 mm thick plexiglass panels, 30 cm high, designed to effectively contain litter, hay, and dirt within the habitat.

Materials

• Wooden structure.
• Also available in aluminum upon request.
• Wire mesh with 6 × 6 mm square holes, ideal for ensuring excellent ventilation and a high level of safety.
• Transparent 5 mm plexiglass.

Easy Installation

The door is fixed directly inside the furniture using 4 screws:

• 2 screws at the top;
• 2 screws at the bottom.

The internal fastening system ensures stable, discreet, and resistant installation.
